Pantai Beras Basah

Pantai Beras Basah, Langkawi. This picture was taken on 9th of November 2008; taken from the wharf using Lan's Sony DSLR-A300, ISO-400, Expo Time 1/16 sec. A very heavy camera, indeed. A beautiful picture, capturing both the sea and the land, including the trees. It was a very hot day, without any hint of rain. Too bad when this picture was taken, there were no girls walking on the beach. This is actually the initial start for my interest in DSLR cams, and after using it, I decide to get one, to capture a beautiful image, as this. As for now, I capture most of the picture using phone cam.

The Reliever

This picture was taken on 20th of November 2006, using my good old nokia N73, just 3.2 mega pixel, but gotta love Carl Zeiss lens, love the results. Anyways, This was a view from my balcony of Fairway View Apartment. it was my first rent house, occupied by 10 peoples for first few months, last man standing 4 persons. I took this in midday, around 10am. What I love about this picture, is the sky. The big blue sky. The thing about sky is it is always beautiful. No matter when it rains or storm, or a hot, bright sunny day, just like a humans face. perhaps it reflects mother nature's face, or scientifically, just a weather and air current? Back to the picture. This is actually a golf course, on which till this day i do not know the name of it. Occasionally, there is some rich people playing golf in weekends. I am still clueless on what fun would be swinging irons to balls then chase after them alone just to them to the holes. But I personally, love it when I can see some biawak, I think it is called monitor lizard in English, unsure. This guys can be seen swimming happily in that little lake sometime is the morning. so carefree that I somehow, envy them. So every time, when I work graveyard shift, before I am off to work, I'd look outside, just to see this view, kind of like my spirit lifter of loving nature somehow? And when I get back, greeted by this view, somehow makes me, relax, and forgot about all the stress, the body pain. A breathtaking view, from time to time, at least. now I miss the view.

The Kitchen at 2004

This probably is among the few first digital image I took, using my Nokia 3200. Dated back at 2004. The phone was bought secretly, using saved allowance for a year, or so. Cant remember it very well. As for this picture. This was how our kitchen used to be, which traditionally including our dining area. The kitchen area was very huge, but we only have one stove, 2 small refrigerator, a sink, one big handmade dining table and if I remember correctly, 2 dish rack. Oh, and few chairs. This was before renovation. This was the place where all of us will have our breakfast, lunch, dinner, even supper together. The only working member was big bro, Leo and bro Nichol. Me? Still earning my Diploma, and sis Helen was still earning her Degree. Not to say very poor, because there were still food on the table, but not all was there. Insufficient, I might say. Bro Leo was cooking for his son, while being criticize by bro Nic, and sis was washing something at the tanju, balcony? Well, dad just came back from the farm, and mom was watching me taking this picture. maybe amaze by technology, perhaps. This picture hold a memory that cant be repeated. since its hard to gather everyone on the same table, just like before. Why? Because we just cant, with the job, responsibility, disease, illness and, for me, the attitude...
